The short version
ThaiNiverse doesn't sell your data, doesn't run ad networks, and doesn't ask you to create an account. Two things collect information: Google Analytics, which tells me anonymously which pages people use, and a form service that delivers your message or email address to me when you choose to send one. That's the whole picture.
Who is responsible for your data
This site is operated by Niverse Studio, from Chiang Mai, Thailand. For anything relating to your data — access, correction, deletion — contact hello@thainiverse.com and it will reach a person, not a queue.
What is collected, and why

No special-category data is collected. Payment details are never collected — nothing is sold through this site. Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you deliberately submit them.
Who else processes it
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland/LLC) — anonymous traffic measurement. Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the official browser add-on.
- Formspree — receives and forwards form submissions. Formspree's privacy policy.
- Hostinger — web hosting, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and diagnostics.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to anything here — the calculators work fine without them.
How long it's kept
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted
- Emails and form submissions: kept while relevant to the reason you sent them, and deleted on request
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, which every email lets you do in one click
Your rights
If you're in the UK, EU or a comparable jurisdiction, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email hello@thainiverse.com and I'll action it within 30 days. There's no charge, and you don't have to explain why.
If you're unhappy with how it's handled, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK that's the ICO.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may earn a commission if you book or buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Where that's the case it is disclosed on the page. Affiliate partners set their own cookies once you land on their site, governed by their privacy policies, not this one. Recommendations aren't changed by whether a link pays.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning travel or relocation and isn't directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, email me and it will be deleted.

Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Substantive changes that affect how your data is used will be noted at the top of this page.
